Backbending can be one of the most challenging postures of asana practice.

In this 3 hour course, learn how the spine functions and breakdown the components to find ease in the bend.

Discover how to navigate the breath and gently move beyond challenges.

Gather essential tips to prepare the body & mind for wholesome and safe backbending.

Drop back prep work, correct breathing method, benefits and counterindications.

An open space for every practicioner willing and eager to learn backbends, in the traditional ashtanga style.

This course will be taught by KPJAYI Level II Instructor, Kai Maciel.
